​From (almost) making it onto the big screen to raising chickens and capturing 360° tours as a Google Trusted Photographer, my journey has taken some unexpected turns. These are just a few of the fun, quirky, and meaningful moments that have helped shape who I am today.

Almost Famous

​Years ago the kids and I were extra's in a movie with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda that was filmed in Colorado. The one moment of acting I was asked to do ended up on the cutting room floor.

Community Organizer

I worked as a community organizer in my 20's focusing on good government, environmental conservation and consumer protection issues. I acquired many great advocacy & negotiating skills, and was even a registered lobbyist working at the state capital at one point.

Sew What? I’ve Got Skills.

I know how to sew. For 25 years I was part owner in the family business working with my parents (Colorado's largest fabric store located in Colorado Springs).

Google Trusted Photographer

I was a Google Photographer. For years I worked as a Google Trusted Photographer helping businesses across Colorado showcase their locations and amenities to the public.

A Grand Adventure

I’ve been through the Grand Canyon, yet I’ve never been to either the north or south rim.

Feathered Friends & Fresh Eggs

I love chickens! Everyone should have them if possible - they are such a great way to cut down on food waste, stay connected to nature, get fresh eggs daily, and they are quite entertaining.

Still Got the Pin to Prove It

I've broken my leg, foot, hand (twice) and fractured my skull playing soccer. Image is of the actual pin (looks like a deck screw) that I still have in my foot to this day.

First Generation American

I'm a first generation American. My parents met on a ship coming to American in 1959 and have been lucky enough to live their own "American Dream" – raising their family, buying a house and owning a business.

From Barn Doors to Front Doors

I grew up riding and caring for horses, which is why I take every opportunity I have to pet and visit with horses when showing houses in the country. Nothing reminds me more of childhood, than the smell of horses.
